Ms. Martin began work at the RRTC in March 1996 as an Office Services Specialist. Since January 1999 she has broadened her work scope and now serves as Public Relations Specialist. Roberta assists with the coordination, registration and implementation of numerous national trainings.  She is also responsible for disseminating information regarding VCU-RRTC projects, products and services, face-to-face trainings, conferences, and Internet courses. Roberta provides customer
assistance daily by phone and e-mail, oversees product supply and order processing. She maintains a mailing list of over 21,000 disability related agencies and professionals in the fields of supported employment and vocational rehabilitation.

As Technical Editor of the Journal of Vocational Rehabilitation,  she assists the Editor and is responsible for coordinating the publication of six issues a year. This includes all aspects of publication: establishing and overseeing an electronic review process, correspondence, managing the Editorial Board, assisting guest editors, formatting documents to APA guidelines, general editing and proofreading of articles. She promotes and disseminates information on the JVR and
serves as liaison to the publisher.
