Don Shrey, Ph.D., C.R.C. is the President of Advanced Transitions, Inc. an international consulting business, specializing in disability management audits, strategic planning and the development of successful return to work programs. He has authored numerous publications including Principles and Practices of Disability Management in Industry and Strategies for a Success: Disability Management in the Workplace.

Presentation -  
Dr. Shrey summarizes the key phases necessary for establishing a strong work place disability management infrastructure that will support disability management and return to work objectives. These include 1) establishing internal leadership, worker & management support, 2) onsite assessment of opportunities, 3) worksite education & guideline development, 4) internal & external communications of guidelines, 5) resource integration & program implementation, and 6) program evaluation & enhancement.
